Kalya sometimes struggles with his music, but this album was nicely balanced ... Listen to it frequently ... Ver La Luz, for the good vibes ... Light of the north for it's beautiful violin at it's end and Osiris for it's awesomeness (without the floaty intro lol) sahell
Philadelphia's Starkey operates in his own head-spinning sonic universe, blending laser-like pinpricks of sound with tripping rhythms. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 10, 2016

This is a near perfect collection compiled by Kalya Scintilla. It doesn't include any of his own work, but every artist featured here is worth knowing about. I first heard many of the artists that I really like by listening to this album. Considering how much you get for your money, this is the bargain of the year. Mark Anglin
